The Eastern Iowa Brass Band is proud to announce the winner of our 2020 Young Artists Competition high school division!

Daniel Jacobi II is a 12th grade Trombone player from Center Point Urbana High School.  Daniel studies privately with Joel Nagel and is under the direction of his parents, Dan & Dorothy Jacobi.

In his school, Daniel is involved in nearly all of the performing music ensembles including:
Chamber Choir, Concert Band, Instrumental Solos/Ensembles, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Pep Band, Show Choir Band, Vocal Jazz Choir

His solo selection is, “Concertino in Eb Op 4, mvt 2 & mvt 3” by Ferdinand David, arr. William Gibson.
