Congratulations to the Eastern Iowa Brass Band on 25 years of music making from your friends in Ohio.
Eastern Iowa has had an impact on North American Banding over the past 25 year that cannot be overlooked. They have won their section at NABBA 6 times, made their impact known at the US Open (both on the stage and with their legendary gatherings at the trailer) and were one of the first bands to sponsor a festival which inspired many other festivals around the country (including OBAF in Ohio…and who can forget the rum cakes!!).
Anyways, we wish you the best in your 25th anniversary (so long as you don’t beat us at the US Open :p)

Here’s to the next 25!

To the members of the Eastern Iowa Brass Band- current and past members,
We are constantly bombarded with less than desirable music these days and to know that your ensemble is still performing quality music is comforting. We wish you continued success and just remember what Rich Matteson told us at UNI many years ago, “if it sounds wrong, raise or lower it a half step”.

Please accept the heartiest congratulations from all of us here at the Prairie Brass Band on the event of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Eastern Iowa Brass Band.
Since our inception in 1997, the Eastern Iowa Brass Band has always been one of our role models of how a brass band should function and mostly importantly, how a really great British brass band should sound.
Over the years we have had the pleasure of performing with EIBB on several occasions and the professionalism and musicianship displayed by the band has always been an inspiration for both me and the members of the band.
Best wishes for your continued success and certain growth as you head into the next twenty five years.
Dallas Niermeyer, Music Director
Prairie Brass Band
Congratulations Eastern Iowa Brass Band on this important occasion of your first quarter century of bringing the wonderful world of brass band music to eastern Iowa! Having heard several excellent concerts from the ensemble over the years, I look forward to hearing many more in coming years. Best of luck as you move forward and continue the great tradition of Brass Band music. May you continue at the forefront of the American Brass Band movement!

It is my joy and pleasure to send greetings and congratulations to the Eastern Iowa Brass Band in your 25th year. Having started my own Princeton Brass Band from scratch and going into our 8th season has made me much more appreciative of the sheer effort and goodwill that has to go into such a grand venture as yours – and you have been doing it for 25 seasons – bravo indeed. May I send you the very best wishes and all blessings for the next 25 years and beyond.
