What is a chocolate stroll you ask?  According to the Mt. Vernon Lisbon Sun website:

“Lots of chocolate!” – The second annual Chocolate Stroll, organized by the Mount Vernon-Lisbon Community Development Group, is set for Saturday, June 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in uptown Mount Vernon.

More than 20 local and regional chocolate vendors will be in the uptown area. Local and regional musicians will also be performing at the gazebo in Memorial Park as well as the First Street Community Center.

“We have definitely upped our game this year,” said Chocolate Stroll committee chair Trude Elliott. “Not only are we offering more chocolate vendors in more storefronts along Mount Vernon’s main street, but we also are offering street performers throughout the day, as well as returning headliners The Eddie Piccard Jazz Quartet and The Eastern Iowa Brass Band.”

Bring your lawn chairs and join us for a FREE concert beginning at 11am.  The band will perform a wonderful variety of music including:
